    Professional Qualification Shiatsu Course

A Distance Learning Diploma Course of 10 Lessons

Shiatsu is a form of Oriental Massage. The name comes from the “shi” meaning “finger” and “atsu” meaning “pressure”. Shiatsu is a Japanese healing art, deeply rooted in the philosophy and practices of traditional Chinese medicine. In our Shiatsu course the techniques are easily learned and are extremely effective.

Shiatsu techniques work to stimulate the Acupressure points directly and more powerfully for healing purposes. Often performed on a mat on the floor, it is considered a firmer form of Acupressure. It can be applied using the hands, knuckles, knees, elbows, feet, full-body movements, and gentle stretching for Pain Management Sports Injuries and Spa treatments.

    Shiatsu Course Feedback

How can I thank you enough for this marvellous course in Shiatsu? Thank you, thank you and thank you!

I deliberately delayed finishing it because I wanted it to sink in well, especially since I continue to learn so much from it. The link up with Acupressure and some of the other courses I have taken has made the learning experience so rich and beneficial and I use it ALL the time.

As you can see from the progression of the practical sessions, I am learning more all the time and increasing in my effectiveness as a practitioner.

In the last month I have been working 3 times a week with a stroke patient and have been delighted with his progress.
