Sandra Sayer is a practitioner in Life Coaching, Stress Management, Advanced Stress Management, Nutrition and Advanced Nutrition
Sandra is based in Wiltshire, England.
She has the following holistic therapy qualifications:
SNHS Dip. (Life Coaching), SNHS Dip. (Stress Management), SNHS Dip. (Advanced Stress Management), SNHS Dip. (Nutrition) & SNHS Dip. (Advanced Nutrition)
I would very much like to share my success story on the SNHS website and promote the fantastic course and excellent support the school provides
I have a lust for life and believe we all have the capacity to live life to the full, so I am often dismayed to see so many people just plodding along on the same life treadmill day after day; they don’t really do much and don’t really achieve much either. Another year goes by with them just existing in their lives rather than living them to the full and they wonder why they are so unhappy.
My role as a qualified Life Coach is to work with my clients to bring them “back to life”.
At my coaching practice, I pride myself in providing a professional, safe, relaxed and enthusiastic environment for my clients to explore their ideas and dreams. I use a number of coaching tools (learnt through SNHS Life Coaching course) to set goals and support my clients to get the results they want.
My sessions are often held face to face although I also provide telephone coaching for clients located further away. Coaching sessions last an hour and I often set homework so as to keep up the momentum of achievement made between sessions.
My practice has been growing steadily through networking with local businesses and word of mouth reputation. I am currently working towards launching my website where I can offer lots of Coaching products and tips for past, present and future clients.
I am very excited about a new coaching approach which I am promoting which is namely ‘Group Coaching’. It will be particularly beneficial to some of my clients for the following reasons.
- Have a larger support team
- Benefit from the collective wisdom of the group
- Experience the dynamic and enthusiastic group energy
- Connect with other like-minded people
Experience more people knowing and caring about their goals, dreams and achievements
As well as Life Coaching I specialise in Employee Coaching. I have worked in the corporate world for over 18 years and have been based with several companies; some good at employee management and others very poor.
Over the years I have witnessed fellow colleagues lose their confidence, become totally stressed, get abused/ bullied, suffer from anxiety attacks, have anger management problems and at worst spiral into depression; all of which have stemmed from work issues. This in my mind is totally unacceptable and completely avoidable.
Through my business network I have started to work with various companies to identify some of their employees who would benefit from Employee Coaching. Here I combine the techniques of Life coaching and those I have learnt in my SNHS Stress Management and Advanced Stress Management Diplomas so that I can be truly effective in dealing with the following areas:
- Improve communication
- Build confidence and self esteem
- Re-introduce enthusiasm back into the work place
- Increase positivity
- Provide tools to deal with working in high pressure environments
- Initiate and manage change in a positive way
- Encourage creative thinking
- Effective coping mechanisms for stress busting
- Raise staff morale
The benefits from the Coaching for employees are huge; they are treated as valued individuals as opposed to just a resource, they are happier in their job, suffer less with stress, have a sense of achievement and personal pride which results in a far healthier work/life balance.
The benefits to the employer are found with reduced absenteeism, being seen as a forward thinking company, increased repeat business from existing customers, more positive work force, better team work, higher productivity and a greater reputation with staff and customers. The overall results leads to a far more successful business.
Working as a Life Coach and Employee Coach has to be the most rewarding thing I have ever done. It is a win-win situation since my success relies on the success of my clients. I never cease to be amazed by their commitment, drive and the actual goals they achieve; they are an inspiration to me and consistently re-enforce the value of coaching for everyone.
Being a firm advocate of personal continuous improvement, I am currently studying the diploma in NLP with the intention of moving onto the Advanced Life Coaching diploma. I then have my goal set for a Higher International Diploma in Life Coaching by the end of 2009.
I found the School of Natural Health Sciences purely by chance while researching distance learning courses in holistic therapies back in 2007, I immediately opted for the Self Study method of learning. Although there is limited interaction with the Self Study team I have always found them to be hugely encouraging and very helpful.
I cannot recommend the School of Natural Health Sciences enough, their customer service is always of the highest standard and the courses certainly give you the confidence to go out there and get the results you want out of life.
