I had always found counselling, and how the brain works, very interesting but had never really pursued it until Kathy was unable to complete her Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) course and I took it over. I had recently had a bad time at work, which resulted in having counselling myself, so I grabbed the chance to do the course as it would help me, if nothing else. I thoroughly enjoyed the subject and, upon successful completion, I actually felt that I had achieved something important for my future. I have not looked back and now I am actually working with my ‘first client’ and feel that I am doing something worthwhile with my life and have just enrolled on the Psychotherapy & Counselling course as this is the direction I want my life to go in. The course has provided all the tools that I need and is very much a tangible qualification for working as a Therapist.
