Jacqueline Cooper is a practitioner in Nutrition.
Jacqueline is based in Gloucester, England.
She has the following holistic therapy qualifications:
SNHS Dip. (Nutrition), SNHS Dip. (Advanced Nutrition) & SNHS H.I. Dip. (Nutrition)Having spent my first adult years working in Tenerife where good food was plentiful and the lifestyle was healthy. I never really had to think about what I was eating as junk food wasn’t generally an option.
Then I moved back to the UK and everything changed. I soon fell into the ‘indoors lifestyle’, cosy nights in with the take-out of choice and convenience foods everywhere.
A couple of years later, I was married and starting a family, the weight piled on and I was miserable. I tried fad diets, pills, all sorts of rubbish and I hated my job.
Remembering how I once was, I realised I could ‘use my love of food’ and started to study Nutrition with the School of Natural Health Sciences. Two children and two diplomas in Nutrition later and I have set up my own practice as a ‘personal slimming coach’ based in Gloucester, England.
There are well known slimming clubs that you can find in every town but my clients have different reasons for needing more. Maybe they can’t face walking into a room full of people, maybe they can’t attend the classes, maybe it’s just that one size doesn’t fit all!
Now I have embarked on a career that has always been my passion – ‘talking about food’.
I can take what I have learned and give individuals the opportunity to really enjoy food again, to get them out of the unhealthy convenience food traps that we can all so easily fall prey to.
Also I can give individuals with conditions such as diabetes, PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome) and ‘food intolerances’ the chance to control their own diet for their long term benefit.
At present I am completing my Higher International Diploma in Nutrition with the School of Natural Health Sciences (SNHS) and will continue my studies with them, studying NLP and Kinesiology.
I am very confident that these practices, along with my Nutrition qualifications can help the individuals who really need it, (the ones who hide away) can now embrace all of the wonderful, health giving food that we have on offer and to live their lives in a healthier, more confident way.
Thank you SNHS!
