It was whilst having Kinesiology treatments over a year ago, that I knew that I wanted to train as a therapist, having seen enormous benefits from these sessions.
At this time, I was a student in Health and Social Care. I had just started my second college year, beginning a BTEC National Diploma course at Newcastle-under-Lyme College. Two months into the course, I knew that I wanted a career in Holistic Therapy, as I had an extremely keen interest in alternative medicine/therapies, and I am very passionate about being able to help others in whatever way I can. I then made the decision to leave the Health and Social course and two weeks later, discovered The School of Natural Health Sciences. I was amazed at the low course costs and friendly service.
As I suffered with allergies, and was keen to learn more I went on to study and gain the school’s diploma in Allergy Testing, achieving a grade A pass to my delight. Following this, I then studied the school’s Nutrition diploma (also with a grade A pass) to build a sound Nutritional knowledge to accompany my Allergy Testing work.
Today, I am based at Sub-4 Health and Well Being Centre in Cellarhead, Staffordshire, where I practice Holistic Allergy Testing, and Nutrition. Now I am in the process of building my new website.
I am currently studying the Life Coaching course and very much look forward to using my newly acquired skills in order to help clients to achieve their dreams and goals. I am also studying Stress Management and as with my previous courses, I’m thoroughly enjoying my studies. My aim is to continue to increase the number of services that I offer to my clients, enabling me to help people to achieve optimum health and well being, from which I take enormous satisfaction.
I whole heartedly recommend the School of Natural Health Sciences to anyone who is wishing to begin, or further their career. The school’s courses are excellent value, and are both very interesting and easy to understand. The tutors are very friendly and always on hand to help. My decision to study with the school has, without doubt, been the best decision I have ever made.
