I use the knowledge I have gained through The School of Natural Health Sciences in my full time work place setting. I support adults with learning disabilities/challenging behaviour and a wide range of personal and profound issues, I also offer therapeutic respite cover for foster children with ADHD, Autism, etc. as I am a registered Respite Foster Carer.
The extra skills/diplomas I have achieved have assisted me to become the “north west listen to me facilitator”. I run a monthly group supporting people with disabilities to have a voice, a say in their own future, to all make their own safe choices, and to be the best they all can be.
I would like to say thank you for the opportunity to say why I chose The School of Natural Health Sciences.
For years I have wanted to gain more professional knowledge, to be able to progress, and to promote my own personal growth and development, professionally, in my work place setting. The School has helped develop my skills and knowledge in all I required and so much more. The courses provided are really excellent; I really enjoy studying the course material (self study) at a pace that suits my life style commitments.
I am inspired by my own achievements and the feeling of empowerment it has given me to go on and do more learning and gain further skills. The School of Natural Health Sciences is definitely the right choice for me.
My achievable goal is to open my ‘own therapy centre’ as I now know I have the skills, strength, and belief in myself that “I CAN DO IT”. Thanks to myself and the support from the School of Natural Health Sciences team and their fantastic courses.
