Ann Dunleavy here!
I’m a Registered Psychiatric Nurse working full time within the Health Service Executive in the South of Ireland. I am a Member of the Association of Registered Complementary Health Therapists of Ireland (MARCHTI), specialising in sports and work related injuries. Of late due to my studies with The School of Natural Health Sciences (SNHS) I have become very interested in Energy Therapy and hope to introduce it into my practice in the near future.
Thanks to the The School of Natural Health Sciences (SNHS), I’m so proud and pleased to have received my Higher International Diploma in Complementary Therapies last Summer, having attained Diplomas in Colour Therapy, Psychotherapy and Counselling, Acupressure, Kinesiology and Hypnotherapy, Stress Management Consultancy and Life Coaching (Basic and Advanced).
I am so impressed with the high standard set by the School of Natural Health Sciences and the help they gave me on the occasions I panicked and rang for assistance. There was always an understanding voice at the end of the phone to calm my fears. The professionalism of this School and it’s employees have never ceased to surprise and please me. As well as my course qualifications and with the help of the study team, I’ve acquired many skills in computer technology which I was previously in awe of others using.
A big thanks to all there for the help you gave me. The qualifications I have received will enable me to expand my practice to full time when I retire from nursing in a few years. In the meantime I am the Irish representative for the The School of Natural Health Sciences and have great pride and pleasure in recommending the School to all my friends and colleagues who have an interest in this field. The pleasure I’ve got from distance learning through the SNHS has inspired me to continue to expand my knowledge in this field and so further my practice, encouraging my colleagues to do likewise and expand their horizons.
As yet I don’t know where all these qualifications will take me but I’m looking forward to my retirement with enthusiasm, and to being able to practice Complementary Medicine full time. I would recommend the The School of Natural Health Sciences to anyone who has an interest in ‘developing their potential’ and those who wish to ‘change or further their careers’.
Thank you again to Julia and your team for making learning so pleasurable,
