I would like to thank you all so much for producing such an amazing course that not only is a brilliant ‘stand alone’ course for therapists, it can also be incorporated into every other holistic/complementary therapy both in a formal and informal way – to suit the individual needs of the client.

Mindfulness is about acknowledging what is happening in the present moment; focussing and embracing on the moment/s without fear, pain, anxiety, judgement and without listening to the ‘negative chatter’ of our mind which can cause much of the pain that we suffer.   It also helps us to understand that our subconscious mind occupies 90% of our mind, meaning that our conscious mind occupies only 10% of our mind.

Mindfulness impacts on the personal aspects of my life in many ways and what is interesting is that it was not until I began to study Mindfulness I realised I was already learning how to use some of these techniques as part of an evolutionary process in the healing of my own body and mind in my recovery from breast cancer.  As such, the study of Mindfulness has been and continues to be an amazing personal, therapeutic, intelligent, healing process for me that makes so much sense, as well as being integral to everything that I will be doing as a therapist/practitioner.

Thank you for the help and support and for awarding me a ‘A grade with distinction’ for this course.  I loved studying it so much and it is now included into my daily life as well as being incorporated into all my therapies – either formally or informally dependent upon each individual client’s needs.
