A Distance Learning Diploma Course of 14 Lessons
Working as a Life Coach you will create an on-going partnership between yourself and your clients. Your aim will be to produce fulfilling results in their personal and professional lives, working with them to overcome any obstacles and setbacks which have in the past prevented them from reaching their full potential and achieving the goals which they have been aiming for. Coaching is a dialogue between a coach and a client – which may be undertaken via face to face communication or by telephone.
Research has shown that people are basically the sum of their genes, and a product of their upbringing (nature and nurture). This plus their cumulative experiences and the circumstances in which they live their lives, all tend to form certain outlooks and expectancies for the future. When this outlook becomes restrictive we may fail to reach our goals and become frustrated with our lack of personal and career achievements. Life Coaches can unlock and release the potential within their clients, to bring about major positive improvements in their lives. Life Coaching is a practical tool for personal exploration and development.

The Life Coaching course gives amazing and valuable information on the behavioural patterns we use, enabling us, as practitioners, to identify and improve our attitude towards success. I came across the School of Natural Health Sciences while searching for courses on Stress Management through Google. I was impressed by the first class course presentation, the adult-centered course structure, and the option of a higher level of support through tutored courses.
My courses taught me what I was looking to learn, well organized, and well paced. They exceeded my expectations in many regards — especially in the depth of information supplied, and the unique combination of high standard terminology, and concepts explained in such a way, that I was not able to stop reading until reaching the last page of each lesson.
In a very non-threatening environment, I learned key principles that I can implement immediately in everyday life. Your courses are truly inspiring and easy to comprehend, providing top quality material. I really enjoy studying with you; it is a pleasure and an honour!
Which distance learning study method should you choose?
Self Study: The self-study option is a faster method of study for those who feel they may not need that support. The Self Study team review each part of your course, rather than lesson by lesson, and the team will assess your work and inform you if you are making serious errors. You will not receive feedback on your work, and you may be asked to repeat an answer paper which does not reach our threshold of acceptance.
Tutored: The tutor option is for students who would like feedback on their work and who may require more support in their studies. Our dedicated Tutor Team will review your work lesson by lesson and give you feedback, where required. You can ask questions, and the team can guide you to success by helping you navigate the course material.
There are no time restrictions, you simply study and return work when you wish. Our courses do not expire, so take your time and enjoy the gentle learning curve. You simply work through the assignments at your own pace, free from the restrictions and pressures of working to deadlines.
On average students take approximately 200 hours, 3 – 4 months, to complete a non advanced course. Around 300 hours 5 – 6 months for an advanced course plus time for practical work with your volunteers for any hands-on therapy.
This is simply a guide; everyone studies at their own pace.
There are question papers at the end of each lesson, and a final question paper at the end of each of the courses which are all conducted via email. No attendance is required.
The Final Exam is classed as an open book exam so you can consult your course material to help if necessary.
An insurable Practitioner/Therapist Level Qualification is awarded on successful completion of this course.
